Description

The Poplars is an 18th-century house located on the west side of Touching End Lane in Marshfield. The building is rendered and features a Cotswold stone slate mansard roof with coped raised verges. It has two storeys and attics with hipped dormers. The house is arranged in three bays, with 2-light casement windows that have chamfered mullions and surrounds. The central window on the first floor has a semi-circular head, complete with a keystone and imposts, and there is a plain band above the ground floor. The entrance is a central six-panel door situated beneath a flat stone hood supported by brackets.
