Description
This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located about 3 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of Holy Trinity in Cold Ashton. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded edge. The tomb has corner pilasters that are broken forward, adorned with carved foliage. There are raised shields on the east and west sides, and paired shields on the north and south sides, with a similar central pilaster. A moulded cornice is broken forward over the pilasters. At the time of the survey in August 1984, the tomb was noted to be in poor condition.
