Description
Paddock House is an 18th-century house that has undergone later alterations. It features a rubble exterior with a rendered finish and a pantiled roof, which has raised coped verges and gable stacks. The southern wing has a double Roman tiled roof. The building is L-shaped, with two storeys and three windows, all of which are sash windows. The central entrance consists of a panelled and glazed door set within a reeded frame, topped by a triangular hood, with a parapet and coping above. To the left, the lower wing has a first-floor sash window and two 20th-century windows on the ground floor. The south elevation includes a 20th-century shop front. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with two windows, featuring a sash window on both the ground and first floors, a 20th-century ground floor window, and a two-light casement window at the first floor. The rear of the main block has a three-light casement window and a door at the upper level, accessible via an external stair. The interior is not accessible for viewing.
