Description

The Cornock Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 4 metres north of the north porch of the Church of St. Arilda. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge, plain quarter balusters, and a plinth. There are inscription panels on the east and west sides, commemorating Thomas Cornock, who died in 1823, along with other family members.
