Description

The garden walls and gateways located about 10 metres north of The Manor House date from the 17th century. They are constructed of limestone rubble with stone dressings. The walls, which are approximately 2 metres high, feature a central gateway that has a bolection-moulded surround and a Tudor-arched head. There are round-headed recesses on each side of the gateway, adorned with balls in the spandrels, and coping over the recesses and gateway. The north wall includes a round-headed stone gateway that has been re-set from another location within the garden.
