Description

No. 87 High Street is a house located in the village, dating from around 1820 and representing a remodelling of a house from about 1700. The exterior is rendered with a slate roof and features two storeys, a cellar, and an attic. There are three mid-19th century four-pane sash windows. The central entrance has a 20th-century door beneath a decorative overlight and a gabled hood supported by brackets. Inside, the property includes stop-chamfered beams and corner fireplaces made of finely coursed rubble, which are segmental in shape.
