Description

Severn House is a house located on the east side of High Street in Wickwar. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is a remodelling of a 17th-century house. The exterior is rendered and features a double Roman tiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics. On the ground floor, there are two mid-19th century bay windows, while the first floor has two 16-pane glazing bar sash windows. The central entrance consists of a panelled door that is topped by a decorative overlight and a flat stone hood supported by brackets. At the rear, there are two gabled wings.
