Description

Charlton House is a house located on the east side of Wickwar High Street, dating from the early 19th century. The exterior is rendered to resemble ashlar, and it features a double Roman tiled roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with three mid-19th century sash windows that have marginal glazing bars, all set beneath lined out and stepped voussoirs. The central entrance consists of a panelled door framed by a raised plain stone surround, topped with an arched head and imposts. At the rear, there are additional glazing bar sash windows.
