Description
The Maypole is a mid-18th century building located on Church Road in Hanham, which includes No 26A High Street. It faces the former Maypole Square and is constructed of rubble with modern pantile roofs and plain gable ends. The building is two storeys high and features three windows, along with a two-storey, three-window wing of lower height to the left. The windows are later sash types set in exposed frames. The central entrance is a half-glazed door, topped with a modern flat wooden hood supported by lattice brackets. The wing also has a similar central door with a later hood on wooden brackets. To the right, there is a two-storey outbuilding extension in rubble with a large entrance. Additionally, there is a 20th-century bar extension at the far left.
