Description

This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located about 5 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St. Arilda in Oldbury-upon-Severn. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded edge. The corners are adorned with fluted pilasters, and there are inscription panels on all sides, set within paired shields on the north and south sides, with a central carved pilaster. The inscriptions are very worn and were in poor condition at the time of the survey in July 1984.
