Description

This is a barn located 20 yards to the northeast of Pool Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a double Roman tile roof. The barn is a traditional Cotswold type, characterized by opposed porches and gables. There is a blocked entry on the southwest side and a hipped roof with a square-headed carriage entry on the northwest side. The interior likely has a roof with five or seven bays. This barn is included for its group value with the surrounding buildings.
