Description

This is a late 18th-century house built for Chief Justice Hale. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble with quoins, and has a Cotswold stone slate roof with a coped parapet and cornice. The house is two storeys high with three hipped dormers in the attic. It has five bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars (eight panes over twelve panes) set within architraves. A central door, set within an architrave, was added in the 20th century.
