Description

This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located about 7 metres northeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Arilda in Oldbury-upon-Severn. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded edge. The tomb has pilasters adorned with swags at the corners, as well as shields and additional swags on the east and west sides. There are oval inscription panels on the north and south sides, which include decorative carving in the spandrels, and it has a moulded base. The inscriptions on the tomb are currently illegible.
