Description
This chest tomb, located 5 yards to the south-east of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, dates from the early 19th century and was created by Collins. It is made of ashlar stone and features panelled sides, a cornice, and corner balusters. The chest tombs in this area represent a fine collection of classical and local tomb styles, significantly enhancing the church's setting.
