Description

The Adams monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 5 metres north of the tower of the Church of St. Arilda in Oldbury-upon-Severn. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone and sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and fluted quarter balusters. There are inscription panels on all sides, presented in oval cartouches on the north and south sides, commemorating William Adams, who died in 1783, along with other family members.
