Description
Heneage Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed from limewashed rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof with rubble end stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, which are highlighted by two steep stone dormers. The facade consists of two bays with 2-, 3-, and 4-light casements that have wooden chamfered mullions and surrounds, all set beneath dripmoulds. There is a 19th-century door located under a flat stone hood supported by brackets. This farmhouse is a notable example of the gabled vernacular farmhouse type and was formerly known as Falfield Farmhouse.
