Description
The remains of a windmill, believed to have been built in 1708 for William Ford, are located in Falfield. The structure is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and features a tapering conical stump. It has windows and doors with square and segmental heads. On the north side, there is a projecting oven and a brick stack positioned at the eaves. An illegible plaque can be found high on the north side.
