9/27 Brewhouse attached to east of The Manor House G.V. II

Brewhouse, now part of The Manor House (q.v.). C17, attached to The Manor House by Lieut. Col. Cooper c.1923, with later alterations. Rubble with stone dressings, triple roll tiled roof with stone tiled dormers, raised coped verges and kneelers. 1½ storeys, north elevation has two 2-light casements with ovolo mullions and hood moulds at ground floor, large gable to right with similar 3- light casement; similar single light at ground floor left with 2-light dormer above with hipped roof. Attached to house by corridor in same style with stone tiled roof, door and window in similar surrounds; two 2-light dormers to south, similar door and window. Single storey wing to south with varied C20 windows and doors and large wooden bolection-moulded door frame with plain door, very decayed. Interior: large fireplace with chamfered lintel, stone jambs and impost blocks.
