Description

A farmhouse dating from the mid- to late 17th century is located on Westend Town Lane in Marshfield. The building is rendered with freestone dressings and has a Cotswold stone roof with coped, raised verges and saddle stones. It is two storeys high, with an attic space lit by a hipped dormer to the right. Originally, it had four bays, but now has a fifth bay added in the 20th century. A two-storey extension has been built to the left. Windows are casement style, with two and three lights, set within ovolo-moulded mullions and surrounds. The main entrance is a six-panel door located off-centre to the right, sheltered by a 20th-century porch with a segmental head.
