Description
Warwick Park House, built around 1800, is a detached house located on the site of a former manor house. The front features slate hanging, while the rest of the building is rendered. It has a dry Delabole slate roof that is concealed behind a moulded stuccoed parapet. The house is designed in a double-depth plan and has two storeys with a symmetrical three-window front. A central doorway is topped by a glazed porch with a moulded cornice, and the windows on the front are from the 20th century. The rear of the house retains original hornless sash windows with glazing bars and includes a small central projecting wing with an open pediment. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is expected to be of interest. Additionally, there are subsidiary features, including a shallow slate-roofed lean-to at one end of the house, which is connected to a high rubble wall along the road frontage on the left. On the right, there is a semicircular entrance with square terminal piers and a central gateway.
