Description
The stables located immediately north-east of Manadon House were built in the late 18th century. They feature slatestone rubble walls and a dry slate roof, with a rectangular plan and a single storey. The front is symmetrical, consisting of three bays, a central bay that is gabled and projects forward, which includes a Diocletian window above an elliptical-arched carriageway. The other openings have segmental arches over transomed casements. These stables are grouped next to an important country house.
