Description

Shiplett House is a mid-18th century house, altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick with freestone dressings and has a double Roman tiled roof. The house has two storeys and three windows, all 20th-century top-hung 16-light casements set beneath flat voussoirs and a central keystone. The central bay projects forward and rises to a coped pediment within the depth of a coped parapet above a cornice. The house has a restored 6-panel front door, protected by a flat hood on ornate brackets. End quoins are present.
