Description

The monument to the Ballard family is a chest tomb located in the churchyard south of St Mary's Church in Portbury. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed from limestone ashlar. The tomb features square inscribed panels, some of which are partly legible, fluted pilasters, and a moulded cornice and base.
