Description
The garden wall extends approximately 80 yards to the southeast from the east corner of Ashton Court Mansion. It is likely from the 19th century but incorporates features from the early 17th century. The wall is constructed of rubble and brick, standing between 2 and 6 feet high. The upper section features alternating large and small ashlar gables with a convex-step-concave outline, some topped with urn finials, and has moulded saddleback coping. At the north end, there is a decorative iron gate, while the south end features a freestanding square ashlar pillar.
