Description

Mayfield is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Bristol Road in Puxton. The building is rendered with a slate roof, featuring end chimneys and coped verges, while an extension has a double Roman tile roof. It has two storeys and three windows, with 16-light glazing bar sash windows. The central gabled porch is adorned with a ball finial, lattice work, and a radiating fanlight made of timber. The entrance includes a six-panel door, with the central panels raised and fielded and the upper panels glazed. To the left, there is a lower two-storey, one-bay extension with two-light casement windows, and beyond that, a single-storey hipped extension.
