Description
The Salthouse Public House is a two-storey building dating from the mid-19th century, located on the north-east side of Church Hill, set back from the road. It features a stucco front with a plain cornice and blocking course, and pantile roofs behind. The building has end pilasters and six windows, including a canted bay on the left with three lights on each storey. The windows have architrave surrounds with sill brackets and are sashes without glazing bars. To the left, there is a porch with an entablature and Doric columns, and a second entrance is located to the right. A later single-storey extension projects forward to the left of the front.
