Description

This is an 18th-century red brick row of three houses, numbered 3 to 5, located on the west side of North Square. The houses are two storeys high with attics, topped by a plaintile mansard roof with dormers. One gable end is hipped and faces Colliton Street. The front elevation features two doorways with round heads, defined by rubbed brick arches and incorporating fanlights. There's also one square-headed doorway. One window has a wood pilastered surround, while another retains Georgian glazing bars within a bowed shop window. A slightly later shopfront is also present.
