Description

Pump Cottage is likely the remnant of a row of cottages, now functioning as a single house, and dates from the early 19th century. The building features whitewashed rubble walls and a gabled thatched roof, which has a brick stack at the right end and another stack slightly along the ridge on the left. It is two storeys tall with irregular window arrangements. The windows are casements that include horizontal glazing bars, and there is a 20th-century part-glazed door.
