Description

Hay Bridge is a road bridge over Manston Brook, built in 1824. It is constructed of greensand ashlar and features three semi-circular arches. The bridge has rounded cutwaters on the downstream side and pointed cutwaters on the upstream side. To the north, there is a panel of tracery that has been reset upside down. On the south side, there is a plaque with an inscription. The bridge is finished with plain ashlar parapets.
