Description

Campion Cottage is an early 18th-century detached cottage in Cheselbourne. The walls are of cob, rendered and set on a plinth of brick and flint. It has a thatched roof with brick stacks at the right gable and to a wing at the left rear. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high with three windows. The window arrangement is irregular, featuring 2-light casements with glazing bars beneath segmental heads. There are three 2-light casements of metal, also with glazing bars, under a large eyebrow dormer. The front door, positioned off-centre, is a plank door with a thatched hood. It was formerly known as Brook Cottage.
