Description
Saint Edward's Cottage is a detached cottage, likely dating from the mid-19th century, originally serving as a Keeper’s Lodge. It is built in the Victorian Tudor style. The cottage has buff brick walls and a stone-slated roof with coped gables, and features ornamental brick stacks with a star-shaped plan. It is one storey high with an attic, and arranged in an L-shape. A store-slated verandah is supported by brick piers. The gable end faces the road, and this front includes a ledged door and a two-light stone mullioned window with arched lights on the ground floor. The attic has a single-light window with an arched head, set under a hoodmould.
