Description
This is a long row of houses built in 1615, located on the north side of St James Street. Numbers 79 to 89 (odd) are listed at Grade II for their group value. The fronts of the houses are constructed of stone rubble, with slate roofs, although the roof of number 81 is covered with corrugated iron. The windows are mostly wood casements with small panes of glass. Number 79 has two bays, number 81 has three, number 85 has two, and numbers 87 and 89 each have one bay. Numbers 69 to 95 (odd) form a group.
