Description
Manor Farmhouse, dating from 1615, is an L-shaped house with its older section set back behind a front garden. The front, likely from the 18th century, is two stories high with three windows and constructed of stone ashlar. It features a string course, a cove at the eaves, and a plain tile roof with two hipped dormers. The windows have been altered sash windows, and there is a doorway with a hood supported by moulded brackets, leading to a six flush panel door with the top two panels cut away and glazed.
An extension along the street to the south of the right-hand end, known as Manor Close, is probably from the early 19th century. This part is also two stories high with three windows, a half hipped slate roof, and a stone rubble front. It has two-light casement windows with small panes and one window bay in the western gable end, featuring one sash window above and below.
