Description

  1. 1615 ST JAMES STREET (North Side) Old Manor House and railings ST 8522 3/87 II 2. Early C19 and later alteration to an older structure. Rough ashlar 2-storey, 3-window front. Slate gabled roof. Gable-end shows that roof level has been raised twice; small mullioned window in right hand gable end. Irregularly spaced and altered sash windows. Good early C19 porch with peaked canopy and cresting. Railings with uprights arranged in 2 heights, all uprights with arrow shaped finials; square standards also. Small gate with iron work of similar pattern before door.
