Description

No. 18 Fleet Street is an attached house dating from around 1800. It features red brick walls laid in Flemish bond and has an asbestos slate roof with stone gable copings. The house has renewed brick stacks at both the left and right gables. It is two storeys tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars and stone cills, topped with brick voussoirs. The front door is centrally located, made of wood with flush and recessed panels, and has panelled reveals. Above the door, there is a hipped concave canopy covered with lozenge slates, supported by light 20th-century wooden brackets.
