Description
Nos 10 and 11 New Street are a pair of cottages that form part of a terrace, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. No. 10 features brick walls, while No. 11 has plastered walls, likely made of cob. Both cottages have thatched roofs, with one brick chimney stack at the left end of No. 10 and another at the party wall.
No. 10 has a flushed door, and the ground floor includes two casement windows with glazing bars set beneath segmental arches. The first floor has two casements, each with a central horizontal bar. There is a later 19th century or 20th century extension at the left end of No. 10.
No. 11 also has a flush door. Its ground floor contains one casement window with glazing bars, while the first floor features one horizontally sliding sash window and one fixed window, both with glazing bars.
