Description
No. 89 Gloucester Row, also known as No. 4 Gloucester Row, is a house dating from around 1790, now used as commercial premises. It is part of a group of four houses designed by James Hamilton, although No. 88 has been rebuilt and is not included in this listing. The building is rendered over brick and features a parapeted slate roof. It has four storeys and three windows across its façade. There is a late 20th-century shop front to the left of a semicircular-arched doorway, which has a keyed moulded arch. The mid-20th-century windows in the original openings are topped with keyed flat arches, and the first-floor sashes are made of plate glass. The interior has not been inspected.
