Description

Downside is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a single house, dating from the mid-19th century. The building is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features gable-ended slate roofs with end ashlar stacks. It stands two storeys tall and has two window ranges, with 2-light casements that include glazing bars. The upper floor windows are adorned with gables above them and returned labels. There are porches on both the left and right sides of the building, and a 20th-century extension has been added to the right.
