Description

The farmhouse dates from the 17th century, with alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble and ashlar with ashlar dressings, and has a tiled, gable-ended roof with ashlar stacks at each end. The building is symmetrical, with three bays, the central one gabled. It has two storeys and attics. The ground floor has stone-mullioned windows with four lights, although these are replacements. Above are windows with three lights. A moulded label sits over the ground-floor windows. The first floor window in the centre is of Venetian style, and above it is a round-headed window with keystones. The central doorway has a stone hood supported on shaped stone brackets. A one-bay extension was added to the south in the 19th century.
