Description

The Glyn Arms is likely originally a pair of cottages, later adapted for use as a public house, and now serving as a single dwelling. The building is constructed of colourwashed rubble with a thatched, gable-ended roof. Brick stacks are visible on the gables and where wings intersect. The layout is L-shaped. It has two storeys and a six-window facade. The windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars. A 20th-century part-glazed door is present. A section of the property lies within the parish of Melbury Abbas, while the remainder is in the parish of Cann.
