Description

Gaines Farmhouse is a house likely dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with a gabled, tiled roof and brick stacks at each end. The two-storey, three-window front features a three-light casement window with horizontal glazing bars on the ground floor. The upper floor has a similar two-light window in the centre bay. A part-glazed, panelled door is sheltered by a 19th-century lattice porch.
