Description

Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century house with a later 19th-century addition to the rear. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and has a gable-ended roof covered in tiles and stone slates, with brick stacks at either end. A string course runs along the front, acting as a label over the windows. The house is two stories tall, with a central stair bay and a three-window front. The windows are stone mullioned, with 2, 3 and 4 lights, set within square heads. A wooden doorway with a moulded 4-centred head and continuous jambs is situated within a porch, likely dating from the 19th century, on the left side of the stair bay. The house has a cross-passage plan. Internal features include two chamfered beams.
