Description
Nos 343 and 345 on High Street are two-storey buildings with attics, likely dating from the 18th century. They feature walls and a roof made of Purbeck Stone, with brick stacks. The original L-shaped structure includes a modern single-storey shop extension that fills a former recessed forecourt. The western section faces the street and aligns with the gable end of No 2 Bell Street. On the ground floor, there is one double-hung sash window with glazing bars and a blocked doorway. The first floor has three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the attic features three half-dormers with gabled roofs, each containing double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. This building is part of an important group at the junction with Bell Street.
