Description
The Globe Inn and former No 3 is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, originally consisting of two houses. It features walls and a roof made of Purbeck Stone, with brick stacks and brick surrounds around the windows. The building is two storeys tall. The northern section has a central doorway and two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, along with two similar windows on the first floor. The southern section, known as No 3, has an L-shaped plan with a door located in the internal angle, which is covered by a stone slated pentice hood. This section also has two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on each floor.
