Description

The gate piers to Alton Pancras Manor House were constructed around 1740. They are made of rusticated stone and feature moulded cornices topped with gadrooned urns that have foliate finials. The inner faces of the piers include stone checks with scroll finials. Each outer face of the piers has a scroll that forms the capping of an adjacent brick wall.
