Description

Cherry Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Village Street, in Alton Pancras. The walls are rendered and whitewashed, and likely constructed of cob on a rubble base. It has a hipped thatched roof with a brick end stack on the left side. The cottage is two storeys high and has a three-window front. It features a plain wooden door and two-light casement windows with glazing bars. The cottage is documented in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments England, Dorset, volume III, page 2, number 4.
