Description

Hatton Cottage, located at 273 High Street, is a building that was formerly two houses. It likely dates from the 18th century, although it may have earlier origins. The structure features Purbeck Stone walls and roof, along with stone chimney stacks. It is two storeys high with an attic. On the ground floor, there are two six-panel doors and two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The words "Hatton Cottage" are carved into one of the lintels. The first floor contains three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and there is one dormer in the attic with a pent roof and a casement window.
