Description

A group of five headstones located in the churchyard, three meters north of the north porch of the Church of Saint Mary in Puddletown. These monuments date from the 18th century and early 19th century. They feature variously shaped tops with carvings of urns and cherubs' heads. One headstone is dated 1812, another is dedicated to Elizabeth House and is dated 1789, and a third is for John Woolly, dated 1780. The inscriptions on the remaining stones are illegible.
