Description
The Hand Monument is a churchyard headstone located in the angle of the north porch and the west end of the north aisle of the Church of Saint Mary in Puddletown. The earliest date on the monument is 1828. It features a shaped top with a carving of a cherub and an open book adorned with a draped swag. The inscriptions commemorate Betty, William, and John Hand.
