Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house of uncertain origin, but it appears to date largely from the late 18th century. The building is constructed from ashlar and coursed, squared rubble, topped with a tiled, gable-ended roof that features stone coping. It has ashlar end and central stacks and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a four-window range. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. A half-hipped, tiled porch is located at the front, and there is a weathered string course running along the building. The south-east elevation includes a corbel table, which is likely taken from Eastbury House, designed by Vanbrugh. At the north-west end, there is an addition that was once used as a Wesleyan meeting room. Inside, some features are likely from the 17th century, including chamfered beams.
